It's Gotta Be the Rain!

I really have no idea what has spurred my burst of craftiness and creativity...but I like it.  My wallet doesn't like it right now, but as long as I sell some stuff, it will be fine.  In the last two days I was on a buying supplies binge..Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Jo-Ann Fabric all got some of my cash.

I went to Jo-Ann to buy some fabric for a dress and skirt I already had patterns for, both of them from Burda.  One I purchased in store and one was a free download from their web site Burda Style.  I have the skirt cut out and pined, and will sew it tomorrow.  I got lucky and found the perfect sandals to wear with it a JC Penny when I went in to pay my bill (isn't that how it always goes?)  I really need a dress form and need to decide what kind I want.  It is just too hard to show off my work without one and when I make my restyled t-shirts I often just kind of pin things on and step back and take a look to see how it goes.

Hobby Lobby had all the metal bits and pieces on sale this week for 50% off, so I loaded up on them and a few scrap book items I am using to make pendants.  Michaels had coupons in the paper so I got beads (they were 40% off) with an extra 15% and another 10% off everything else.  I got so much I bought 3 more bead organizing boxes and immediately filled them up.
