RECESSIONISTAS GET THEIR REVENGE
AT “BEAUTY-ON-A-BUDGET” EVENT

Recessionistas, the newly coined term for women who find ways to cleverly make the best of the current economic downturn, will get their revenge and even a little “girl time” at a unique event at the Crestview Hills Towne Center. On Wednesday evening, at the Argentine Bean, March 25th, from 6-9pm, Beauty-On-A-Budget will be the theme for a wine and dine gathering of local women who have trimmed, but not entirely eliminated, their beauty budgets.

Best of all, attendees can check out the latest innovation in achieving long, luxourious lashes from Latisse™. Latisse™ is the first and only FDA approved prescription product that can be used to grow lashes making them longer, thicker and darker. “This launch will help us get the word out that we can now offer Latisse even before the commercials hit the air in April” said event coordinator Paula Provenzano. Ms. Provenzano, who has been featured on television and in national publications for her health and beauty expertise, recently joined A Woman’s Touch Plastic Surgery Center in Edgewood. She, along with Dr. Deborah Sillins’ M.D., medical director of A Woman’s Touch Plastic Surgery Center, will be on hand to speak with event guests on the latest skin care products.

Dr. Sillins, who is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, can also answer any other questions about the full range of options available to women who want to improve their appearance with both surgical and non-surgical procedures, and even offer a few of the services her clinic provides, at prices even a coupon-clipper can manage. As one of the few female plastic surgeons in the tri-state area she offers a personal perspective on the issues of improving a woman’s appearance.

Bennett who, among her many services, provides hair replacement options for women on a budget, doesn’t want thin wallets to cause women to give up on improving their looks. She says, “The hair services I provide are among the most reasonable in the area” and the beautiful jewelry she designs starts at just $20.
